I remember finding that when I was looking up diamonds. Iono, kinda creepy but whatever floats your boat and helps you move on.  Roll Eyes

Oh my goodness, that would be interesting.  I think the diamond is probably for the individual who lost a loved one, not to give to someone else.  Just a thought...  Huh?

i heard about this a few years ago. it's still kinda strange.

though having something made from the remains of your loved ones is usually creepier.

prob not. i'm thinking it's more like "ohh, this pendant i'm wearing is made from the remains of my father."

I had seen an article on cnn.com or one of those websites about different things you can request done with you after you are gone besides the traditional routes.   That was one of them, and another I thought was interesting is that there is a company that will mix your ashes with concrete, make a lump out of it and place it somewhere off the coast of Florida.  Coral and such eventually attach and you become a living coral reef.   Your relatives/friends/loved ones are given your exact coordinates so they can dive and visit you/your reef.  I actually thought that was kind of a cool idea.

IMO it's meant more for elderly ladies w/ a lot of money and attachment to their husbands. Then when their husband passes she turns him into a diamond and keeps him with her. Iono. Only thing I could think up. Guys don't usually wear jewelry like that.

Scary, I'm wearing "you" on my finger.
Or "them" around my neck.
