Desmo, my 7 month old kitten. He's a rescued feral cat, has a weird personality. He will follow you into the bathroom or hop on your lap when you are sitting down, but if you try to touch him any other time he panics and hides under something. He'll jump on your lap while you are eating and try to grab stuff off your plate. He also powerslides around my hardwood floors when he is playing.

We had a rescued feral cat who would never let us touch her. The baby, on the other hand, could do whatever he wanted. He could yank at her whiskers and she'd just follow him in the direction of the pull. She'd prowl around behind him as he crawled around. As he got older, she got more and more like a dog. Often, she'd just lean up against him as he played with Legos. When his rowdy friends came over, she'd get right in the middle of things no matter how loud they got. If I tried to pick her up, she wouldn't growl or scratch, but she'd invoke extra gravity. Once she moved inside, she never ate anything but dry cat food ever again, no matter what we tempted her with, and never went outside again.
Weird cat, but I miss her.

I´ve been told this is THE best way to transport your kitteh..
I´m not into animal cruelty.. it´s just amusing to think someone actually planned this out in their head. Scary.

We had a cat, Spunk, who would not go in a cat carrier. I don't mean that he put up a fight, I mean that it was
impossible
to get him into one. He was a large neutered tom, so he was about 2/3 the size of the door to begin with, but he'd get his paws out and become 4X the size of the carrier door. Wouldn't scratch at the person who was trying to get him in the carrier. He'd concentrate all his energy on staying the hell out of the box.
Kitty Valium (probably straight ketamine) in his soft food would knock him out so we could get him to the vet, but he was apparently very sensitive to the effects and his system would slow waaaaaay down. Then the vet showed us a trick.
We'd put the cat carrier on its back, with the door facing up. Then simply wrap the stubborn bastard in a towel with his head covered but his butt exposed, then pick him up and hold him vertically over the carrier door. He'd wiggle downward out of the towel and drop *plunk* straight into the carrier. Took him a few seconds to realize where he was, by which time we'd closed the door. Then all we had to do was listen to him howl all the way to the vet's office. Checkup done? Repeat steps A through J, and listen to him whine all the way home.
Man, do I miss that poor, dumb bastard.

Ok, I had to find some pictures. Here are my (wife's) cats
This is Ernie. He hates you. He doesn't even have to know you to hate you. I blame my father in law.
This is Olivia. She loves you. She doesn't even have to know you to love you. She's never met my father in law.
This is them about to do something bad.
