you best get cookin'  ;)

i had a similar problem when my fiancée's brother sent us a huge box of organic meat from his farm.
i could not make it fit in the freezer with the stuff we already had.
so i opted to toss the ice cream, and some other stuff.

how long can you keep meat in a freezer?

You might want to speak to a butcher before tossing it.  If the length of time is a quality issue, not a health issue you may be able to use it for stew, braising or smoking.

I thought you knew. Yes, that's what I do for the Navy. Preventive Medicine Technician. One of my responsibilties is health inspector for food service facilities as well as fresh, frozen and dry food storage...
