that looks greeeat dude! that's a whole lot of stuff you did. it gives me inspiration to start modding my Foggy.

in the pics it looks like you kept those air scoops. do you know just how functional those are?
can you give me a little background on the ST4S engine?

please send more pics...oh and where are you located?

Thanks!! I'm located in Dayton, Ohio.

The air scoops are supposed to help cool the rear cylinder, do they work (?), I think they help some at higher speeds. Having the pipes ceramic coated made a huge difference in keeping it cool.

The motor is out of a 2003 ST4S (996cc), it has the following:

1036 BCM big bore kit
V2 stage II 748R intake and exhaust cams
38mm intake and 32mm exhaust valves
machined and balanced crank/flywheel
Pistal high compression pistons 13:4:1
Carillo rods
complete head porting with manifolds/throttle bodies
complete blueprint of lower end and tranny

The ST4S is a direct fitment and will give a lot more power stock than the 916 motor. I'll post up some new pics after this weekend.

who did the work?

how do you like the moto corse swingarm? major improvement? are you mostly riding this in the street or the track or both? i wonder if its worth the extra cash for mostly street purposes and the occasional track days...for my applications.

Yes it is and can be a pregnant dog to start when cold, that's why I have an ODYSSEY Dry cell Battery waiting to be installed with heavy duty cables. After it's warmed up it starts up just fine. It is a true monster and likes to pull the front wheel up.

Bruce Myers at BCM did all the motor work.

The Moto Corse swing arm has only been on a couple of weeks and I haven't got much ride time on it yet (weather has been shitty hear). So far it feels nice and stiff, the bike feels more planted coming out of the corners hard. I can give you a better report on it after this weekend, we are supposed to have some good weather. In terms of value, I don't think I would of paid full retail for it. I paid less than a hunk of junk someone made me from TOB, who still hasn't refunded my money. Also, the swing arm weighs a little over 15lbs with all the hard wear and the stock one weighs in around 14lbs. The bike is ridden on the street hard and will see a couple of track days this year along with the DB4.

monsterman, yes you need a friggin' car battery to start that thing. i'm having the same problem with my harley. i put 12:1 piston in and she's very powerful but a pregnant dog to start.

please update us on the moto corse swingarm and please post some recent shots...thanks

Well guys I have to admit, I'm very jealous.

The Foggy is my favorite Monster by far. I almost bought one right before I bought my first Monster in '05 but it had a tail chop and I am not a fan of that mod.

 Then last year I found one with 4K miles in my local area. The owner claimed it was in excellent condition but when I went to see it the frame was all scratched up form where he chained it to a pole in his parking lot. Huh?

 As if that wasn't bad enough, all the aluminum was all oxodised from being left outside. WTF? Who does that to a freakin' Foggy?

 Anyway, someday I'll find a nice clean example and pick it up and give it the care it deserves. <translation> Park it in my livingroom.  Grin

excellent...  a foggy thread.  congratulations on the foggy, looks like an ultra clean specimen you've got there.  here's a pic of mine, which has extensive mods...  i picked it up as a salvage, so it was a good reason to make some changes. many foggy owners keep them stock or close to stock since it's a limited edition bike, but if you want to change something, just do it.

i didn't like the seat either, the color or the comfort.  went with a ducati performance gel seat which looks good and is much more comfortable.

- Singled sided swingarm off 996.  engine cases milled for fit and upper shock pivot relocated
- Custom tail chop, tapered hand rails and no more stubs. relocated mounts.
- Custom BoomTubes (exhaust)
- Custom made tubular rearsets {w/gussets to match frame) integrated into swingarm pivot
- Custom paint via Frosty Finishes (ducpainter)

- Lightweight ride height adjuster
- Brake calipers bead blasted and painted to match motor
- Clear Alternatives brake light w/integrated turn signals

- CRG lane splitter mirror
- Steel braided clutch/brake lines
- Pirelli Diablos
- Stock foggy carbon fairing was restored and painted by ducpainter (not shown on bike)

Oh, Foggy #?  No clue, the bike was a salvage and the badge was gone by the time I got it.  Most of the Foggy components were still there, however.  Here's a pic of what it looked like when I found it:
