This is Sunny. He's a pit bull/lab mix that fell out of the back of a truck in front of Caleb and his friend when they were riding up at Angeles Crest. Caleb called me to bring the dog home and I ended up with the big oaf. He's the SWEETEST dog and has awesome eyes, but also loves to chew furniture and jump on people. <Shrug> He's still a pup in most ways.
These guys are Mackey and Isis. Mackey was a rescue dog. We got him from a shelter in Compton. He's aloof, agile and freakin' fast! Isis is a pure bread black lab. She'll be 8 years old this winter but she's still the queen of the household--even if she doesn't look like it with a ball cap on her head.
...and one more of Fresh Prince Mackey....

Cyrus, your dobe looks great!! I can't wait until our Darmah gets a little older/larger. These shots were taken when we first got her (at eight weeks) about a month ago.
What do you feed her?

This question wasn't directed to me, but I think we've feed our Dobermans every premium food ever made. Solid Gold, Flint River, Canine Caviar, Eagle Pack, Natural Balance, and the list goes on. As far as I can tell, they all work the same. I suggest picking one that has a protein source as the first ingredient (rather than rice or corn), and letting price be the guide after that.

Well, guess I should post our pooch. Cavalier king charles spaniel in da house.
Considerably more pics here:
http://www.wenga.net/gallery2/main.php/v/casey/
For what I thought was meant to be a lap dog he's exceedingly active. I've got the little bugger fetching like crazy, he'll sit and shake hands, and generally run amok all day. He snores stupidly loudly, which can be frustrating. And he sighs like an old man whenever he lies down, like it's so difficult to be a dog.

He's really not that big. We went to visit him yesterday...he's only about 6 pounds or so right now. He's quite the bundle of energy, however.
Here are a couple updated pictures. He comes home on the 20th.

Bundle of energy? Seriously? That is an understatement mister! After TWO HOURS of 8 pups interacting with their new parents and their siblings, 7 of them crashed at about the same time. Whether it was in a lap, on a toy, on someone's shoe, etc. The ONLY one who kept going was none other than Brian. Those pics are deceiving! He was still for what, a few nano-seconds? Long enough to get a few non-Iz-zy pictures.
Starting in two weeks, I'll bet this thread suddenly becomes much longer. It's going to start with "hey, pup is home, so fun, he's so cute." Followed by: "had to chase him around the house after he stole a sock" then: "he dug a hole to China in the back yard" to: "learned how to open the gate and he chased the kids around the neighborhood" to: "just picked him up at the pound after he got out again...now on our way to remedial training."
Just kiddin' Randimus. Well, sort of.
