Vets don't want to come to the house and lifting him, since he can't walk has become a perilious task, he bit me yesterday when I was trying to set him up on his mattress ... Put out a Whatsapp call for hel, hopefully someone will call back ...

Today he ate some pizza edges, no sauce, and toast, finally drank water after almost 2 days

Update on Max:

In hospital, has Hip dysplasia, that is the main cause for him not standing up/walking, has a few other age related issues, including neurogical,  but, all treatable, will not go the surgery route due to age[13] and cost, simply can't afford it ...

He stayed so they could force to go to the bathroom ...

Looking for doggy cart/sling to take him out to do his things and to keep front legs exercised ...

Will do our best to keep him going as long as treatment works ...

Thanks all for your best wishes for Max ... Many have kids, my dogs are my kids

Seems like dogs do well with carts.  I think you made a good decision Carlos.

Any nerve damage? Could be that the pain is too much to tolerate standing. CBD for doggies? Best of luck.

We took the decision to put him to sleep ... He was so heavily sedated that did not recognize the wife or me ...

Almost 13yrs ... Missing him

Thanks guys ...

Wife was not 100% on board, she still wanted to bring him home and try ... Had to tell her that where he was at that moment, was no place for no one to be in ... And if I ever get/got to that point, let me go

Blackout, xrays and CAT didn't show anything wrong with spine or brain, just his lungs with a lot of nodes and heart showing some scaring[?]
