Sorry to hear.  If it's any consolation, twelve years with a large dog is abnormal so you got to enjoy her company for longer than most. |

She looks like she was a great Great Dane and you know your love and care helped her make it that far.

Thanks everyone. She had a good, long life and it was time. Still sucks though. It's going to be interesting to see how my other dog, Gabby, handles it. She's 10, and we got her first when she was a pup (we got Emma when she was 3). They were buddies. She'll get more attention now though, and get to go more places with me since it's much easier to take just 1. So far she's acting normal, but I'm guessing it'll take a few days before she realizes Emma isn't coming home. She also won't have to share the spot in front of the heater vent anymore...she's already taking advantage of that!  |

 Sorry to hear. We lost our dog 7 months ago and sometimes it still crushes me like it was yesterday. Sounds like Emma lead a great life. |

Sorry to hear J. Didn't you just get that dog about the same time you got on TOB? Probably pretty close. We only lived in the townhouse for a couple years, and we got Emma and my Monster while we lived there. |
