Our sweet old girl Fluffy, enjoying a ride in the Land Cruiser:  And her current obsession, a IZ_ green squeeky toy she stole from another dog who was visiting our house (his human reports he doesn't seem to miss it):  She's never been the least bit interested in dog toys before. It is kind of cute the way she carries it with her everywhere, but it's also a bit bittersweet, as I've noticed that obsession with a particular toy is a habit many dogs pick up very late in life. She's doing really well, but it's a reminder that she's a large, 13 year old dog and I should be savoring every snuggle and playful moment she gives us. |
