Brian and Oliver Bacon at their favorite store, doing tricks in hopes of treats:
OB was on his hind legs in that picture. I tried to get them to re-pose to take a picture without the leash across B's legs and OB just hopped on the counter:

Say hello to Dusty, a seven year-old beagle who'll become part of our household later today.

She was a companion to a veteran living in the VA Domiciliary here in Prescott, but she had to find a new home when he went into hospice care. She's kind of shy, very sweet, and 100% ball-obsessed.

I figured my first post in a few years should be in the dogz thread. Meet Jello 5000, Pitbull extraordinaire. Got this guy as a tiny mange covered puppy about a year ago, and nursed him back to almost full health. He is defective (allergic to beef, and the environment), so he eats mostly pork ribs and lamb shanks. He will perform any feat for homemade liver treats, so his training and recall are on point. The next order of business is to teach him to swim. He won't go in the water beyond where he can touch bottom. This needs to be rectified if he is going to be my kayak buddy.

Cute pup! If he's afraid to swim, maybe you've got a great excuse to get yourself a Stand Up Paddleboard. Bet he'd be a fun S'up Dawg.
