This is Tony , my soon to be 8 year old Basset  Hound . Tony is a reincarnation of Tony a male Basset that came before him but sadly had to be put to sleep from Cancer at the young age of 10.

I got this Tony when he was 6 weeks old , about 3 months after my Father died . I needed to try and fill the hole in my heart and Tony sure helped.

He is a house Dog with a big area to roam in out in the rear of the property.

After he got past the stage of chewing on anything made of wood , be it an inexpensive chair or a Heirloom piece of Antique Furniture , he has been just wonderful.

He loves everybody and asks only for your love in return ....and a bite of your sandwich.

well, I don't own a Duc, but I do have a new dog.
He's been home for 6 weeks now.
Here's our Kian, he's a Vizsla (Hungarian Pointer)

BTW, you all have some great looking dogs.

First day home
