Here's an update on Grover, 2 weeks after getting his casts off:

And the bf continues to torture Watson.

First building a pillow fort around her

Then turning her into a pack mule

She got tired and had to lie down with all that weight on there

He then tortured them by cooking bacon and telling them there was nothing special going on.
They didn't believe him, though.

They did get some in the end...happy dogs! Smiley

Here is our crazy dog Boomer, an Australian Cattle Dog or Blue Heeler.  They are originally bred from dingos and the Red Heelers look just like them.  Very very strong willed, dominant, and stubborn - there was some resistance by him to me joining the pack.  Never aggressive, he would just sit between us or bark at us when we hugged or kissed.  He was too funny.

Boomer is a rescue pup.  Here he is just after my husband brought him home from the city shelter.  He had been there 6 months and the woman initially couldnt find his file so he could be adopted because it was in the "kill" pile scheduled to go the next day.  The woman there was horrible to him and tried to discourage my husband from even looking at him.  He was extremely malnourished and was missing chunks of hair.  Poor puppy.

He's just like a little IZ_ human.  He loves using pillows and will flop and sigh making lots of noise at night until someone tucks him under his blanket.  He's incredibly spoiled.

Boomer with Sadie, a beagle/whippet mix (thought you might like this msincredible).  Sadie is fast as hell and has the insanely loud beagle-bark

My two decapitated a stuffed hedgehog toy IMMEDIATELY after watching The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (you know, the movie with the headless horseman).

Coincidence?  Or the influence of the media on innocent susceptible minds?  Huh? cheeky

If Boomer hears a squeaker, that thing is dead inside of 20 minutes.  We got him a hedgehog stuffed toy too because it was basically a stuffed ball with no arms/legs/etc to grab a hold of and riiiiippp it apart.  We thought it might last longer.

Just got spayed today. She is doing very well. Surgery went perfect. She is up and about, just trying to keep her movement down

She keeps banging into everything!!!!

We aren't sure if she really needs it, but will keep it on until tomorrow.

When we got her ears cropped (note: spare the "inhumane" comments, not directed at anyone personally) she had no bandages; only stitches.

She never once touched them, so she probably wouldn't bother her incision.

But, we will go on the side of caution and keep it on until we are proved otherwise
