Isn't 143 pounds small for a mastiff?
can't say I didn't see that one coming from a few miles out.

No no, I didn't just imply you were small, I picked that number because if you take the extra 45 pounds away that leaves......a 98 pound weakling
My nerd side came out.
Mastiffs prefer real bacon, btw.

Annie
We picked her up at a shelter in Riverside yesterday (she still has the
new puppy
shelter smell
)
But......as soon as the stitches go bye bye (she was spayed), she gets a bath and a haircut.
She's a wire hair fox terrier, she's about two years old, and she's quite the cutie.
I'll post up an
after
pic

Absolutely. And if you are looking for a specific breed and can't find it in the shelter, look for a breed-specific rescue group, that's how I ended up with my whippets.

My parents adopted a wire hair fox terrier from a shelter about almost 5 years ago. He is the smartest dog I have ever met and came pre-trained. I still can't figure out why someone would give him up. They are great dogs. I've never seen one quite as curly haired as your Annie. She's adorable.

she needs a good grooming. they found her at a middle school, and she had been at the shelter for about 2 weeks.
she's a great travel dog. she sat still in the car, and she didn't barf, like Desmo does.
lm is happy because she waves.
I'm not sure if shes a full breed, but her tail and ears have been altered, which from what lm says, is common with the full breeds

She has the same "stock" ears as my JRT. If her tail is short, thats stock as well. No mods necessary!
