Just wanted to post that during my second trackday, I was able to drag both knees in the last session of the day.   Grin

Thanks to AMS for putting on a great trackday for the DFW area.

That is all...   Grin Grin

It didn't really spook me all that much.  I picked my knee up for a split second then put it right back down after I realized what I just did.

I was screaming in my helmet after that turn.  That was a ton of fun!

Hmm must find a track bike for next track season

Good for you...

my reaction was much more like gm2...

except you don't 'run off track' at NHIS...

without serious consequences.... laughingdp

Thankfully the setup at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas is pretty good and there's plenty of run off.

And getting the chance to follow a few former AMA racers was great to learn from

Something you might eventually want to try are leather sliders:

They are supper smooth and smell  bacon after a 20 session  chug

Yeah the first time my knee scratched the pavement, it made my heart flutter for sure... but man it sure does breed a whole 'nother level of confidence when you start laying em down all over the track.

Congrats Bryant!  Now its time to pick up the pace another notch!   applause

My first knee drag at my first (and only Sad) track day back in early 07 (I think?) didn't freak me out at all.

Good work Bryant! Smiley

I was wearing cordura pants the first time I dragged a knee. It was not fun.

You think that's fun?  Wait until the first time you drag your shoulder!

and then you head, arms, waist, back, pretty much everything as you tumble to a stop...
