Kevin, how do you find additional information here? did you call them by chance? I see a few goodies.
Thanks
Register with the site and read the FAQ THOROUGHLY!!! The customer service people, while helpful, will not have any info on the items up for auction.

The R6 would make a much better track bike for the majority of people. Track bikes will be crashed. The R6 will be MUCH cheaper to repair after a big get off. The bike is very light, and has comparable power to a 749. This bike is track ready and only has 500 miles on it. It really is a steal.
+1
I'd go with something/someone I know any day over a salvage bike.

You will not see me pregnant dog about thread jacking, but posting a place to buy salvaged bikes in my track bike sale thread is a little cold. don't you think? Did I piss you guys off somehow

No threadjack intended, but it rarley is. If I had the $ Zach I would buy your R6 pronto and you are right, it would be much easier on the wallet to crash than any Duc. I only posted the link because he mentioned he was looking for something Ducati specific...
Please feel free to jack any of my threads

You allow test rides on the 6?
Even for almost serious buyers

Yes I do
I am also interested in certain trades. I just need a more comfortable bike for our slower outings.

I think I saw an 848 yesterday that might have eaten a little turf and is probably available from AMS...

Not too sure how you'd look in a German leather outfit with the Geshtopho hat on Slag my dear. It's just not the fashion statement I see you as. Something a little more Gucci more your style.

I have ridden the r6 that this thread is actually about, it is nimble as a mountain bike and insanely cool sounding. Better wear your ear plugs fo-sho, that m4 exhaust is sick! That bike is sooooo worth the money!
As for the thread jack, you easties should be ashamed, I thought I was the black sheep. Where's swanny when you need him. Looking for some commitment here dude

I'd love the bike Slag, but the physics of my weight and the power of said track bike = not sure if it would pull my fat ar$e off the grid??? I would feel like...
maybe? maybe not?

Less power to weight will actually make you a better rider. You have to keep those corner speeds up

Slag, apologies for the threadjack
I was just stating my desire for a Duc trackbike so I can keep doing the private trackdays and the AMS trackdays. That R6 looks real tempting though
