I just got home, so I may be bailing depending on how hung over I am in the morning. If I'm not there by 9, don't wait.

If you bail, you will NEVER hear the end of this.

Jobu and I just got home from a bottomless mug night, an hour and a half after you.

And we'll be there.   waytogo

If you don't make it and I do, then you're the biggest douche on the planet.  I just got home and I had like 87 beers.

This post is somewhat indicative of the fun that was had.

Those that show up tomorrow will be privy to the entire story.

Best night of my life.

For the money spent.

laughingdp laughingdp You guys are younger than me, but then again so was the girl at the bar last night and that didn't stop me.

Anyway, I'm not feeling so bad, so it looks like I'll be there.

That was a nice 223 mile ride to and from a fun event. A lot of interesting cars and bikes, cool people, and nice scenery. Next year though, someone has to run. I looked up the records for the 650cc class and they're only in the 114 MPH range. I think I can top that.

Edit:

Oh darn, I see in the regs that driver/rider changes are free of charge, so we could have registered Dave's bike and everyone take turns making a run  Grin

What a fun day. The ride and weather couldn't have been better. I haven't had a chance to ride much this season and today just made me realize what I've been missing.

I'm with John, someone has to ride next year. I'm dying to know what my bike can do. I'll have to read up on the regs.  Grin

Hell, we should go again next season and all of us should make a run!  Evil

John might have a slow start in 5th (or was it 6th) gear, though.

I'll lend him a butt plug.  That might help.

Just for clarification, that would be 'regular' John. Not me  Grin

Oh, and we talked about the car at the Indy Museum with the open crankcase and valvetrain. Here's the pic

I still laugh when I see that.  Not because of the open crank thing, but because it has an SOHC.  More technology than NASCAR.  laughingdp
