Heather, I'll pick you up on the way through to breakfast....in fact if you want you can stay here the night (I'll sleep on the couch like a gentleman!) instead of paying for room and board.
We'll head over, how about 9 everyone?
Supreme organiser, you're only saying that because of my body
Dragon, Dos, people? Simon, Wraith....roll call!
Maestro Bradley Black....I will buy you breakfast to thank you for the care of my bike if you come!
Thanks for the offer of bed and board Spider but I've already booked over the internet and can't cancel. No hurt feelings I hope??? So are you still picking me up at 0900?

Actually, after re-reading Techno's post, I noticed breakfast is only mentioned.
Dos, Techno is okay with a short ride as he has to catch the Tassie ferry Sunday evening. I'm not keen on riding all the way to Melb just for brekky and riding all the way back home again. Although, having said that, I will have to ride all the way home after going for a ride with you guys after brekky anyway.
All those turismo miles (
) must be getting to me!
If some of you fellas can only make brekky and not ride that's fine still come, it will be fun to put faces to names. And Techno and I can regale you with our turismo tales. Well the ones we're allowed to tell anyway.

Hi guys,
its Friday night and I'm back in Melb already as we decided to do the run from Renmark to Melb in one hit (about 700km on a standard monster seat).
I'm not up for much of a ride on Sunday as I'm dangerously close to a 20k service by the time I get home.
Coffee/ breakfast would be good. Does Healsville only do instant coffee? Are we only meeting there as a starting point for the ride?
I'm really relying on you local guys for guidance here but seems like we at least have some interest in a meet up.

how does everyone feel about breakfast close to Melbourne?
In Prahran, so that people can then do a ride after if they want (I want!)
Heather, of course no hurt feelings, and the place I suggest for breakfast is 1km from where you are staying!
Hotel Max. 32 Commercial Road, Prahran. nearest street is Punt (rhymes with the name of a bank manager).
sound of about my suggestion. met at 9?

Thanks Spider,
What I was really trying to say is can we meet close to Melb for coffee/ breakfast with an option for those who want to ride afterwards. My brain was a bit numb yesterday as well as some other parts. not being local, I wasn't prepared to suggest anywhere.
9AM at Hotel Max is fine with me. I will try to get there early but if I'm late its because I'm trying to navigate traffic. See y'all there.

OK you blasphemer.....
1. It's a S4r not a S4
2. It's a bowl not a ball
Stop blasphemeing... I don't have to work with blasphemers

Hint... A character in the movie has the surname Rockatanski

OK, there aren't any photos but it did happen.
It was good to put some faces to names, even if the venue was somewhat questionable. Max hotel wasn't open so we went somewhere close in proximity but a long way away in time. (some might say back to the '60s).

And then he copped a saucepan in the throat....
Yeah, it was good to meet up with fellow DMF'ers. Sorry about the venue, but now I don't have to worry about being asked to organise breakfast again. Well' it is Spiders fault anyway......

. I'm no MattyVas. Spider took a photo too.
Good to meet up with Wraith, Dos, Madalf and Spider. Thanks for the ride (not the mad city/car/tram bit tho!)

Hey Melbourne DMFers I'm in the city again on Saturday 22/Nov if anyone is thinking of organising another coffee morning/ride. Staying in Melbourne Fri and Sat nights so don't have to rush off this time.
