when the apocolpyse comes im staying with u laughingdp

i know what u mean! it would be always be a good idea to have one when we travel, cause some of us travel alone....

i hope to see ya this toosday mama chug to bad its to cold or im sure ur steed would haul our hineys up there to show those SOCO Dogs some mexican shennigans Evil laughingdp

I'm not planning to actually carry it.  It is more for statistics and home protection.  Like I mentioned before, with my quick descent into road rage at the slightest provocation, I don't need to have anything readily at hand that could put me on death row.    Evil

Make sure to post up where you are going to be.  I know I can count on you at least to still be out and about after Council.  It's election and budget time  so the meeting may run long again.  My term will be over after this month so no more SPH keeping the mninutes.

I keep a pistol in the truck when I'm going x-country... but nothing on the bike.  Though I have been keeping that little boot-knife I bought on me pretty regular recently.

Still have you and Pam's quiche dish.  I am coming down Tuesday to pick up my bike so maybe I can get it to you on DucNight.  I have Council that night though so I will be there late.  Maybe I can get it to Dusty to pass on to you.  Miss you all!  I am up here in SoCo Dog land w/o my steed.   Sad
Would love to see in ABQ. Pam said that the quiche dish comes with unlimited refills if so desired as long as you share. waytogo

I'm so there AND I share!   bow down  It would be worth undergoing another hand surgery...especially if I could bend my finger again.   cheeky

Boo and I made the journey down to Albuquerque this weekend to see the hand doctor, covermy last Voter's meeting as secretary, and pick up some meds for the little guy.

I got to meet Dusty and Mr. Bacon for lunch one day.

So, no riding to be done up in the mid-west... and no time to brew.  That leaves cooking!

White pizza... Sauted spinach and garlic, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, fresh Roma tomatoes, and chicken.  Drizzled with olive oil on a home-made crust.

Bonfy & WDB, sorry I didn't get my little lady out last week, i've been runnin' like crazy. Here are a few pics for now.

Wish I could have made it for the party this weekend. I miss you all.

This is the same Buell/S&S motor as the bike DDGM posted, but with a carb. I spent less than $2,500 to build the whole bike. I love it when people discard blown motors.  Grin 310lbs 122ft lbs of torque. Weeeeeee

Hmmmm.... we've got to get together on these. I'd love the chance to learn some of what you know. I'm great at figuring it out as I go. But for a couple projects I've got planned it sure would be nice to have someone with some knowledge to refer to periodically.  Wink BTW, I love the raw metal on that bike.

Walking to work yesterday in SF I came across this moron.      As Dusty says "takes all kinds"    Or as I like to say "is every person that owns one of these a moron?"   I'm just sayin'
22deg., 20mph wind & ice...everywhere.

Same thing up here!  My God, it was cold yesterday.  I have been going up to the lake a few blocks from my house for my daily run lately.  This is how it looked:

My version of the Duc Pond for now:

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!  Where's our Godec emoticon??

Very cool pictures of your project, Kingbaby.  I'm not sure what I was looking at, but it was definitely very chromey and sparkly.    Grin    I liked it.   waytogo

Thanks Bonfy glad you like it. The only chrome parts on the entire bike are the rear fender support, fork boots & tail light cups off a 57 Caddie. Everything else I pollished.
Your pics are beautiful !  I do have some info about your buy back. call when ya' can.
