The frightener on the monster is a bit lame so I'm thinking of installing the Stebel compact Nautilus, http://www.stebel.it/stebel/index2006.htmCan get one of these for under 50 bucks and it will fit where I want to put it. Anyone tried anything else?

fiamm made something similar a few years back with two small trumpets mounted directly to the compressor, the stebel looks a little more discreet though, and $50 sounds reasonable.

Hi Brimo, I'm running with the Monster with the Stebel compact Nautilus. Been there for a few years. brought off ebay for about $45 I think. Mounted in same location as original horn with a simple alum bracket which I made. Relay that came with it is mounted under the seat. Bloody loud and has helped me be noticed a few times now. Only issue is when the bike is serviced, as it affects the disgnostic readings - so install with quick release connections so it's easy to dis-engage for servicing. Can post a pic or two if it helps. John

John Have decided to go with the compact nautilus after a bit more research. Thanks, a pic won't be necessary, should be able to fabricate a bracket with no problems. Also Thanks for the heads up on the servicing diagnostics, wonder why that is so? It's only a relay in the horn circuit after all.

Hi , just purchased one as well would like to see a photo of the bracket you made and also the relay under the seat if possible , also with diagnostic does the relay affect also? Did you rig it up so the horn works only when the bike is running? cheers dez John
