Went out last weekend with my mate who has one of these, it makes a fabulous noise.Spins up really quickly too which made going through traffic a hoot as he blipped the throttle. Its a sharp sort of noise, very different from the other Ducatis who were also there and not even the loudest, that was a GT1000 with termi open pipes and for sheer volume that took the prize. cheeky

Saw one today up in the bay area.  First in the parking lot across from Alices, then at speed in a turn and again while we were eating.

The rider was wearing...... wait for it......

I've seen a few as they come through the dealership here in OKC, but none on the street.  Sweet ride  Evil

If I saw that bike next to the curb, I would have waited around just to hear the owner fire it up.  I saw one in the showroom of Munroe Motors, SF about 3 months ago.  Beautiful.  Shocked  I read on the ducati.com site about the extensive use of carbon fiber on the bike, but noticed the wheels weren't CF.  Thought that was weird, for $72,500 you'd think they would just come standard on a street legal track bike.

SWEET Bike..

Sorry I don't find it any better looking than the 1098.  I got a chance to see one at the dealers.

Now if you are talking exotic and exclusive that's a different matter.

It's nice that so many people are seeing these on the road, i think we all pretty much figured the bulk of them would wind up garage queens.
