Johnathan Greene said in the first race yesterday something like.
boy's if you didn't know by now, he's here for the trophy..
not an exact quote but you get the idea

he also said something to the effect that by the time superpole had been run that every person in the paddock, journalist, crew, mechanic.. anyone you talked to you expected him to take the double.  and how rare a double at qatar is.

Ben is a deadly serious fellow, super focused and hard working.

Knowing how many variables there are in winning a given race, not to mention a whole series, it's kinda funny to say I will be absolutely amazed if Ben wins the championship, but somehow not surprised at all.

I'm sure behind him. waytogo  If I were a betting man, I'd put money on it - it's the only vice I don't have.

I'd love to know if he could make the Ducati go any better than Nori.

Not to take anything away from Spies or Rossi...... cause....seriously........but I wonder how much of it is the bike(s).  I wouldn't be surprised at all if a Yamaha was at the top of WSBK, MotoGP, and even AMA.  So far in WSBK and AMA both Bens were saying how awesome the bike is.  I know ... I know it's their job to say that....  but it has me wondering.  Maybe the next magic bike is going to be a Yamaha.  laughingdp

how is sykes doin' on his r1? how about bostom on his?

have you checked the results of the daytona superbike race?

after watching last two motogp seasons, i don't think anybody would argue that rossi was on a superior bike.

I was thinking about that Sat. night after watching the races (I recorded them). Yamaha would be sitting pretty if they took the WSBK, MotoGP and the AMA titles this year. I bet they sell a ton of R1's this year. The engine makes up for the goofy headlights.

I haven't checked the other classes, on the off chance I watch them on the 21st.  So I just saw Bostrom raving about the R6. (I think)

Grin So true.  Big Ben also made a new track lap record.  Hmmmmmmm.  More talent than bike.  Having everything work properly helps too, but no one can deny the simple fact that Ben has the ability to win races, lots of them waytogo
