Author Michael Crichton Dead at 66

Sorry to hear he is gone. I loved his books when I was a kid (Jurassic Park is even better than the movie).

Amazingly, this week scientists announced they have successfully cloned mice from material frozen for 16 years. Which means it will be possible to clone extinct animals if they have frozen tissue (woolly mammoth for one). Sounds like Crichton's fantasy could become a reality.
