yeah couldnt believe how many 1098's were there, and not many monsters, some pretty cool old cafe racers though. And that wierd arse new bimota tesi 3d , with the swingarm on both the front wheel as well as the back, strange times!
REally liked the fully restored black 900ss, very cool. Was good day for bike porn  waytogo

Yep, nice stuff.  Did think there were more Monsters than last year too.
Gotta get me a decent shed so I can build me one of them old singles ...

I only started taking most of these pics after the crowds cleared away enough for me to take full shots of em, which was about the same time the Duke bikes/riders were disappearing. Hmm, I wonder why...  Tongue

So maybe one of the reasons why there weren't many Monsters there-- they must've been the smart ones making use of the great weather and actually out on the road.

In any case yeah it was a good day, great turnout, but I'm surprised I didn't hear about it on this forum beforehand...

More shots from me and other people on flickr:

it's just a lack of organisation.  years ago, when it was in lygon street, we organised a moto italiano (pre moto one days) ride from work into the show.  we had a shitload of bikes, and so many moto italiano rego plate surrounds thru the ducatis it wasn't funny.  i got to ride trev's lovely V7 special in - mine was still in bits at that point.  maybe it was late '95.
