Take a look at the naked yellow monster #83 to the right (as pictured) of #555.  Any ideas where to get this fairing from?

Where can someone get fairing for track monsters? I'm planning on setting up my S4 for track only status.

Do you know if the full race kit is till available?  I have contacted http://www.advancedmotorsports.com/Monster-Race-Fairing-p/18213.htm about this fairing but they don't have it anymore.

I would really like to get the full kit.  CF is a little overkill, crashing with CF is a needless expenses IMO.

Its a ducati performance part.
The parts were sold seperately.

AV Fibre.                                     Carbon Fibre
Headlight fairing  18213                  18214
solo seat             18215                  18216
belly pan             18217                  18218

they were mega expensive especially the c/f ones.
but you do find them on ebay ocassionally and you might a dealer who still has some.

You have to buy a sportbike race fairing and make it work. It's all DIY  chug

I am assuming that you mean full fairing and not those little half fairing thingies. Trust me, if you want wind protection don't just get a half one. They are not good for much. That yellow Monster in the picture has a disadvantage that has hurt him. I know because I've passed him with ease on the front straight many times. Even without drafting.

Cool. It's full SBK fairings eh? So I can buy 748/916/996 fairing and mock up the mounting?

Yes. But if you want to use that generation bodywork, I think you have to use 998. The others have a deep vent on the upper that doesn't allow enough clearance. Just buy whatever brand you want of racing bodywork.
I'm thinking about starting a thread soon that will document the steps of how to mount a race body to a Monster. My teammate is setting up a 620 to race next year and I'll be doing most of the work on it so I should take photos and document it. I've had countless people contact me both here, and the old board with questions on how to do this.
It's the same concept no matter what bodywork you choose to use. The mounting brackets vary a little, and the cutting of bodywork varies depending on what you are using. We will be mounting 999 body (like mine) and an undetermined tailsection to his 620. So, I guess I will document it to have something to refer to.
We haven't started yet so for those that may be interested, be patient. It will get done because he's racing it next season, but it won't get done real soon. chug

Looks like the one used for a Triumph Thruxton.
