Woke up at 6:00 a.m...looked out the window...raining...looked up at the mountain out of the 'Gong to Sydney...covered in cloud/fog...crawled back into bed and returned to dreamland!

Maybe third time lucky!

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

Well I got home about 3:30 ... probably 200kms all up and hardly a drop of rain. Wet road on the way down but no rain. On the return: wet road again on the trip down to the Hawkesbury with a few spits, then a shower on the north side of the river. Thruth be told pretty good weather for riding ... hardly anyone on the old road.

Goldie it certainly looks more comfortable than you on the M1100!

I tried on a few bikes for size and am feeling pretty happy with Betty at the moment. I had sat on a 696 before and it felt really small (considering I'm pretty small myself) and not too comortable on certain parts of the anatomy. The M1100 surpisingly doesn't feel that much bigger - certainly a shorter reach than the old style monsters. It may prove to be a little more comfortable than the 696 ... but the truth will be in the riding ... I think it could be a fun thing to take for a spin.

Now I am just waiting for a particular couple of photos  Grin
