Hide the wimmens!

I'll be in San Diego in about 6 weeks, from December 19-26.
I'll be visiting family, but I'll have some time to act like a tourist.
Any suggestions?

'course, you'll have to go to a completely different website to find out what that is.

It looks like there's a Ducati dealer, GP cycles?
I also see a local Ducati club. Anyone here with them?

GP Cycles is good, from what I've heard, I haven't been there myself.

There's two good dealers, GP and Moto Forza.

The local club has meetings in Little Italy the second Thursday of the month (you'll miss that by a week).

The automotive museum currently has a large motorcycle display in house.

It's a good time of year to dirt bike out in the desert.

I'm guessing that IBNII in Santa Monica/Los Angeles will be cancelled as it falls on Xmas eve this year.

The good news is if you want to spend the dough, you can rent a Ducati for around $180 and tool around.

Maybe we can wake up some of the cadavers and meet up with you. Grin

That would be sweet, but probably won't happen.

That would be a real treat.

Plans for this trip are firming up. I'll be staying in San Marcos, arriving Dec. 20.
Are any of you anywhere near San Marcos?
I've arranged a rental car for the week. I would've enjoyed the bike rental, but my wife would've been truly pissed.
Oh well, happy wife, happy life, right?

Well, Cabo was freakin' gorgeous, and we all had an excellent time. I'm so relaxed, it may take as long as a week for me to regain my normal snarky attitude!
I'm in San Marcos right now, and I'll be here for the week. I'll definitely be checking out GP cycles at some point during the week.
I'd be intereste in a get together if there's anything happening this week. I'll check this board as I'm able.
Pics will eventually follow.
