that's the toy budget not the bling budget.
they come from different areas of the income stream.
isn't that the way it works?

The plain silver & gold or the gold ones, the rest are ghey. IMO.  Wink

You don't want your wheels to overshadow the bike, only to complement what is already a beautiful bike.  Wink

Dont think they are worth much any way Big Made in japan
if you do need to move the originals on vinci and they do indeed for the Mosnters then let me know.- Chris

ps, I vote getting the simplest ones you like and have them localy modded to how you want... it all part of discretionary capex.

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

« Reply #26 on: November 12, 2008, 02:22:22 PM »

Initially I thought ... yeah, go 1 and 2 ... look at me wheels for a look at me bike.

4, 6 & 7: the blues don't match the bike ... and 7: why introduce red?

5 would be a nice addition, but it just depends on how 'in ya face' you want to be.

So ... No. 2 (hehe): the change from black to gold is a bit stark and you may spend 5 minutes each time you park aligning the wheels so the colours present correctly which some might consider a tad pretentious.

Therefore, No. 1 could be the right amount of obnoxious bling if you feel that way inclined.

Or maybe I have just overthought it all

Are you saying that these rims can be run with out inner tubes?

Cause I saw these on the cafe racer thread and really liked how the spoke was attached to the rim.  waytogo
