It does seem pretty generic. No something-lever forks or other weird suspension bits, no big jugs poking out the side.

Looks like a motorcycle rather than a failed design experiment by a blind retard from the 80s.  In that sense, it's a huge step up for BMW. 



(I actually don't feel that strongly about BMWs, but it was fun to write).

Ya I agree. But I don't know. It's a little weird. It doesn't have that refined "mean yuppy" look the cars have these days, nor the painful " I just traveled across the Sahara 'function-first'" look their other bikes have. But it's definitely evil. Kind of evil Honda +1.

PS. I am kind of glad another Euro bike is getting into the race. Its been Japan centric for so long.
