my face is now sun burnt

I was getting stared at every time I stopped on the way home, my face is so red. After riding (swimming) out from Chicago on Friday, the last thing I thought about on Saturday was sunscreen - until about half-way through MotoGP qualifying when it occurred to me my arms and face had that funny feeling.
It was a peculiar sensation riding back to Chicago on Sunday after the GPs - the wind kept trying to blow me off the highway, it was pouring rain, chilly, and I had a sunburn.

Next best part was when the Interstate flooded and we had to detour, in the dark, down a two lane unlit blacktop road, with at least 4 instances of washouts we had to ride through. As we'd blasjt along at 70 I kept thinking, "I sure hope they don't miss one of these flooded spots or forget to put up a sign".

It was definitely worth the trip.

We left Indy on Monday morning after spending most of Sunday night in the hot tub and wandering downtown trying to agree on a place for dinner (note to self - do not to to Houlihan's again).  After the Bday party, that had to be the worst ever.

Arrived in Mineral Wells, WV after a windy, twisty bit of a detour down 14  (Parkersburg Sheriffs have no idea of directions).

Sat in the hot tub again and after a leisurely breakfast on Tuesday morning, we left for Maryland around 10:30.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
