so last Tuesday my kids and i had the day off so we went and hit old liberty. it was great but it takes is almost two hours from Fayetnam. so i just wanted to pick the collective for any and all locations of similar roads so i can build myself a database of sorts.

I can't answer for the Fayetteville area but if you really want some good roads you'll have to ride a ways to get to them. Any of the Virginia Gaps, Piper's, Fancy, Orchard, Ward's, Tuggles, Lover's Leap, Squirrel Spur and of course, Shady Valley are all fantastic roads.
Around Raleigh, not so much, just a few good ones, the area around Jordan Lake, Boat Ramp, Falls Lake (Beaver Dam Rd, Purnell Rd) a few decent backroads near my house in Clayton.

The geography of central NC doesn't lend itself to many miles of curvy, fun roads. Here's a link I found with some good suggestions.
