I'd be stoked if there was actually more runs, you guys don't seem to get out and ride local roads that often... I can't afford track days yet (just bought a flat) but I am out at least once a w/e tearing it up and trying to improve my skills - but it would be good to ride with a few more monsters / ducatis on the regular.

Plenty of clubs + sites do regular weekly / fortnightly / monthly rides so there is something to look forward to on a regular basis, is it feasible for us to do this?

It's totally possible to do it and in fact we did have a regular ride thread but I guess busy lives/kids/wifes etc can take over toward the end of the year.
All you have to do if you want a group to come out with you is just post it up.

Last minute can work but usually a few days notice works best, as you'll always find people who were planning a ride and are happy to have company.

All you have to do is post up, so people know. You might only get a couple of people interested, is that what you are after?

The every second month 'official' sydney ride was intended to give plenty of notice to get as many monsters there as possible. Trev (I think it was) set half a dozen dates at the start of the year which I think we have stuck to pretty well.

Could have been a Monster turn out at Frasers on Saturday if more than two had actually ridden their bikes  Grin .... and I am sure a little ride afterwards would have been on.

... and since I've been typing ... what Matty said  Tongue

Just to add to this here is something I've found "The Ducati Monster breaks the Guinness Book 'Largest Parade of Motorcycles of the Same Brand and Type' Record, in Hamme-Moerzeke" There was 405 of them there.

Seeing all those Monsters make me happy in my pants.

We really should try and get another run in before the end of the year (RNP, Mac, Kanga, Nowra maybe?). Maybe tie it in with Sound Off Part 2 Smiley

Have seen a metallic pink (purplish?) monster around a few times. Pretty sure the owner (or former owner) was on the DML ... Bec? Dunno we never met.

Would probably prefer to leave the sound-off (take 2) until early next year ... much too busy time of year. Doesn't mean we can't try and squeeze in another ride though ... other than Big T's mountain bike ride - is that still on?

I do believe the MTB ride is still on.
Don't know if I'll fit in another ride between now and when I go away 14th Dec.
But I will try, there are a few things on for most of the weekends before I head off.
