Hi all,
Bit of a stab in the dark to try and save some money and mod my exhaust without getting a whole new exhaust . Does anyone have a high mount kit on their monster and would like to swap for a low mount. My exhaust is fine but I just want it up under the seat.
Also has anyone done this mod before, from what I can tell I just need the mounts and cans with a longer pipe attached to them, is that correct? Is there anyway of buying a kit without getting a whole new set of Exhaust cans?
Thanks

If your in Sydney you can pick up a second hand set of high termi's from http://www.motorcyclewreckers.com/ in Silverwater. I was there the other day and they had these. They send them out all over the place. I think there's also a full set at http://www.eurobrit.com.au/?stg=353&view=353 who are in Melbourne.

I don't think your likely to get a swap.

surely a custom job would be available.....

I've got the under seat bracket mount for you - then ebay the brackets (round brackets that hold the cans), then get a custom set of mid pipes down to the headers - then get headers and pipes ceramic coated and your done!

here's an example of brackets:

Thanks Spider,
Yeah the guys at work know of a guy who fabricates whole exhausts, so going to look into getting that done. Think I want stainless pipes so will  get him to fabricate right from the engine up . Then put my old pipes on flea bay. Either way should be alot cheaper than buting a whole new set. Might wait till this Chrismas thing is over though, cause once I do this mod, it is going to open up a whole new way of getting rid of all that spare money I have laying around !!! ( rear sets, new ecu etc etc..)
