I have a pair of Dainese insulated waterproof gloves, size M (that particular glove style runs kinds of small).

You're totally welcome to ride on your own.  Don't know if you mean that you don't feel comfortable taking a passenger or if you don't feel comfortable being a passenger, but you're welcome to ride on the back of my bike if you want.  I'm sure one of the guys would take you, too.
