I'm thinking an M1100 with that gear on it will look pretty neat.
Can you see the SSS with an EBox and those rearsets.

You can't even consider the M1100 without the Ohlins. Smiley

yeah but after speaking to another bloke on Saturday who has a 1098s and just spent $3k on suspension.
So don't know if I'd be that convinced that Ohlins is always worth it.

don't tease Matty, what was the go of the conversation: he's ripped the Ohlins off? put cartridges in? front, back? both?

spill em kiddo!

No he didn't rip the gear off, he just spent $3k on having it re-tuned for him.
And being 100kg's plus, I think there was a fair bit of work done.
But then if you saw the bike itself, a beautiful black 1098s with bling on it to rival your good self and the import company.

Must get a snap of it one of these days.

It certainly looks better with the Quad Box but I just can't get past the heavy tube frame and plastic tank. Alas the 1100 at the show didn't inspire me also. Cry

Just been messing about with colours on the M1100s.
I'd like to see with these combo's.

Silver with black frame.

and Red with black frame.

I think with these combo's the lack of a full trellis frame is blended out.
