Some of the finest coffee I've ever had. I've tried several varieties from this roaster, but I can't recommend the organic Peruvian enough. It is, by far, the smoothest drinking coffee I've ever had.

Haven't tried that. We've got two local roasters, so I don't have to look hard to find a good blend ~

My favorite coffee from my favorite roaster:
http://www.alterracoffee.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=248&CategoryID=9&BaseID=2
If you tend to like acidic foods and drinks (tomato sauces, limes, crisp wines, etc.) like the wife and I do, then this is the coffee for you. It has high acidity and a is roasted lightly. It's like the anti-Charbucks. And at $12/lb not stupidly expensive either.

My favorite coffee is Cubita.
Nearly impossible to by in the US because of the embargo, but whenever I know someone leaving the country to the carribean, I have them bring me back some.
We just brought back 5lbs of it from Grand Cayman.
I think the most overrated coffee is Jamaican Blue Mountain.
20$ for 12oz.
what a rip

Very nice!
We're lucky to have several roasters here in San Francisco. There's a new place called 4-barrel that's opening up two blocks from me...they'll be roasting their own beans, and serving espresso & french press.
I love this board...it's all about fine Italian machinery:

I bought a second Whirly Pop popcorn popper to roast beans in. I got a pound of green beans from a local roaster and have tried 2 batches at home! I still need to perfect the heat and timing, but it has been fun and tastes good. I drink drip coffee and go through a pound of beans a week.

They have a shop in San Dimas. I rode 36 miles round trip last week just to pick up some of their Ethiopia Worka beans... reminds me of Harrar, a real nice berry flavor, highly recommended.

Faves are Victor's Celtic Coffee- espresso roast and Sleepy Monk Coffee - organic espresso roast
Wholesale destruction of many a bean happens daily in my Gaggia Titanium.

The best morning cup is freshly ground beans and a bialetti moka pot that I got from my Italian friend. He also gave me Lavazza preground and it was just as good as fresh ground beans. Seriously. Anyway, I'm loving the moka. You can get it from kitchen shops like, but not necessarily at, williams sonoma and that kitchen shop.
I'm going through some beans I got from a monastery in the Philippines. They're a bit of 'eh', but still decent. The same friend who recommended and bought me my moka swears by Illy beans, which I'll do next.
Italians sure know they motorcycles and their coffee.

Coming from the Seattle area, you'd think I'd be all about Star*ucks, or one of the thousands of independent pseudo-bohemian coffee joints, right?
Welp, when I'm not chugging the slightly-above-par "coffee" at Barlee's Diner, I'm either drinking Chicory Coffee from down south (Cafe du Monde, or French Market), or David Lynch's coffee! Come on, the proceeds to go help teach transcendental meditation to children, maaan.

I've become a big fan of the Kauai Coffee Company. I'm love the Kauai Blue Mt. Peaberry. The downer is, like the Jamaican Blue Mt it comes with the same premium price. But hey, every time I drink a cup it brings my mind right back to the vacations I've had on Kauai.
