I was at a buddy's farm (not amish) in Goshen, Indiana.

They didn't take a liking to all the gun play.

My wife's little village in Mid-Michigan has the "caution..Amish horse and buggy" signs on the side of the road.  They're all over MI and have that woodwork superstore on the border of OH.

According to the 2000 Census, Indiana had the third largest Amish community (37k) behind Ohio (55k) and Pennsylvania (39k)

Yeah, when you drive in LaGrange County (where they all live), you have to be VERY careful at night time. You need to know the light signals they have on their buggies. The problem is, they want to save battery power and turn the lights off at night; then they wonder why they get whacked by a car or truck.
