hello,
i'm not sure if this should be in the "tech" forum so please move this if you must...
anyone in the SoCal area know of any good, reputable private shops that work on ducs? my work keeps me from doing big jobs on my bikes and i'd like to save a little money when i need to get some engine, suspension, etc mods going.
thanks

GP in San Diego does great work an they are very reasonable on price.
You can also try CA cycleworks or John (ducman851).

Stuart and Nick at Flight Cycles
Really the best service in the southland.

Another vote for Flightcycles!!
Great guys and great service......
Nick even did me a H-U-G-E favor and picked my 996 up and took her into the shop for me
I'm definitely a customer for life!

No FHE with Flight but have yet to hear a bad thing about them.
Scotty in Signal Hill. Excellent, honest, Ducati trained mechanic. Was Ducati certifed when he worked for a dealer, doubt he forgot anything since. Catch him on the right day and he even wears a vintage ECS employee shirt.
I think it more depends on where you are at. I'd go to Chris K if I was in SD, John if near Temecula, Scotty if in OC or South Bay, and Flight if in LA.
