Just returned from a wonderful "sport touring day" track day at Jenning GP
The event is a function our BMW club of Northeast Florida presents.
Nate Kern, BMW racer supreme, was there and went onto the track with us.
Awesome to have Nate drop in front of you and lead several laps showing braking, turn-in points, and next focal target.
What a gentleman, and a fast one at that. That BMW will "fly", sounds like no other bike , and that sweet smell of Cam2 fuel,,, ahhh.
One more time, that BMW is one bad beast with two backsing bike!!

I have done track days there before on my Boxer Cup Rep. I found the S2R a bit nervous and twitchy, I knew this before going.
I spoke to Nate (N8, his trademark) and as I suspected the conversation of a dampener was brought up.
Or I was used to a long, heavy, and dampener equiped yacht.

Other than that I need clip-ons and rear sets , or at least some grippy pegs, to get down, oh heck I need a track bike.....but I do have a nice set of scrubbed tires now...

Watch Nate he does us "twin" riders proud...
