Hey all, Just a quick heads up to direct you all to the minor sponsor board where you will notice that I am now a sponsor of the DMF. I am offering a reflash for your stock ECU's to DP spec to go with your non Termi aftermarket exhaust and other mods. Get all the details here: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=15502.0 I have recently found out that the reflash will completely disable the immobilizer upon the customer's request. Which means that you can now use aftermarket gauges on your bike without hiding the factory gauges somewhere!

Now that is cool How does your flash affect the "pairing" of the dash and the ecu, assuming that pairing was performed? BK Great question! It doesn't effect it at all. In fact it disables the immobilizer. If you use the red key it will pair it again though. I'm also fairly certain that once that has been done you can change out your gauges as well providing you don't use the red key in it. I'll let you all know as soon as I try it on my bike.

the link in the minor sponsor section is the safer bookmark. The details and ongoing conversation about how this progresses will be there. Exciting stuff.

Thanks. I've bookmarked that as well to keep the ECU mod thread current.

How does your reflashing differ from a pciii, other than the reflashing uses your own ECM and the pciii is a piggy back system?

Well a PCIII is useless on any bike that has an O2 sensor such as the S2R1K and the S4RS. That is unless you have a DP ECU because it eliminates the O2 sensor. For more info check out Cdawg's thread at the top of the page.

Or to ask another way, can you read the maps on one ECU ( read DP) and flash to a stock ECU?

I'm soon to fit a Nemisis and would like to program it with the map from the DP ECU I have at present as a baseline. While this reflash is a MAJOR facilty (allbeit reather expesive), I want to be able to make real time adjustments on the dyno, the Nemisis allows this. Another question, do you offer or plan to offer a immobiliser removal only? this would open up the way to replace gauges.
