Best of luck! I opted to go with the ortho k lens treatment. You sleep with lenses in and in the morning you take them out I had 20/20 after 2 days. Its not permanent and half the price.

Never heard of this but it sounds awesome. More details??

the hard lenses simply force your cornea into a shape where you have 20/20 (where laser is a permanent reshape) after a few days your cornea bends back into its original shape. its kinda like wearing RGP lens but stiffer.

I wear the new hydrogel contact lenses and they feel AWESOME. before with regular contacts, it was about ~2 hours before it started getting wikid annoying. now its somehting along 12-14 hours. never use drops either.

Its gotta be hard to not fist make the beast with two backs your eyes anymore. it becomes a habbit lol

It's hard not to rub but with the dire warnings from the doctor and the fact that my eye is so comfortablr for the first time in my life I don't see the need. When I described the type of eye rubbing I used to do he cringed. He said repeated hard eye rubbing/sqeezing cabn lead to Keratoconus a disease characterized by a thickening of the cornea which destroys your vision.I'm sure a little rubbing to get something out or to wash is fine but I'm not even doing that for the next 30 days. I've been gently blotting them when they I put drops in them or get out of the shower.

Yeah, I used to rub my eyes a lot, but I guess I mostly did it because of the contacts, I don't really need to anymore.

Christmas will be over and I'll be kickin in the OT. Cant wait!! Everything on me is great since I totaled my last one except my thumb which is still a little messed up.
