if i remember correctly, the way BP set it up was to find someone you may or may not know and pm them with the info for this thread. get their shipping info and send them something that you think would be cool for them. the recipient's only obligation is to post pics and a thanks here, and then to pass it on to someone else.
it's not a gift exchange, just a machine to perpetuate goodwill and that good wholesome community feeling.
