Big thanks everyone. I've experienced the deaths of family and friends before, but this has been incredibly devastating for me. 

I'll be headed back up there soon to get back to the hospital. Mom is slated to be released later this afternoon and then we start to finish sorting through the disaster.

The thing that sickens me the most is that they were such great people together. They were high school sweethearts. They raised me and my brother right. They worked their asses off to retire early three years ago to a spot on a lake in northern MN. And now this. Mom knows already that she will have to move back closer to us as she will be unable to maintain everything alone and it will be nearly as heartbreaking to sell off everything they worked so hard for.

Again, hug your loved ones today for me.

I lost my Grandmother ( on my birthday) in September and the My grandpa is in the hospital now and won't be much longer.
