Well, I made a tactical error and rode to work this morning. I paid for that mistake in spades on the way home! I was officially the hardest, deepest water I have EVER ridden in.

At least I got a ride in this week as the rest of the week look like holy shit.

I hope no one else made the same mistake!

Yea... here's me leaning into a corner on FM543 headed up to Weston... unfortunately, it was in the Super Duty.   cheeky  By the time I made it over to Prosper, the lightning was blowing around so I decided discretion was the better part of valor and packed it home... pretty much in the nick of time.

I am finally throwing in the white towel on riding to and from work for the next month or so. With 75 under construction I have lost my HOV advantage and it is simply too damned hot to sit in traffic!

Any idea what they are doing?  Are they disappearing the HOV lane?  Last time I cut down 75 I was surprised all the dividers and stuff were gone...

The interchange at 75 and George Bush is being re-worked. As a result the lanes will shift around during the construction so the HOV lane was eliminated so it could be utilized during construction. I think the dedicated HOV lanes will re-open after the construction is complete in about 2 years!

Hello from Jacksonville - beautiful day for a ride in E. Texas this morning, so I did Dolph

Made a 30 mile loop before lunch, but the Hyper got stick in second gear half way through the ride.

It was kind of nice to put along at 35 mph on the way back Cool

Have not looked into why the shift lever is stuck in the extreme down position yet except that it looks good at a glance.

I'll dig into it this week I guess and hope it is not internal.  Probably look at my Desmo Times manual first.

I just noticed that LT's got a new shift lever arm/bearing combo over at desmotimes.  Might be worth installing   Dolph

My plan is to get it up to AMS to let the pros I trust do the work.  Maybe this Saturday, or some Saturday soon.  Undecided

I trust Rich D's advice not to ride it at all, so pickup or trailer it up there.
