I like the look! Painting the frame pieces the same color unifies the whole thing and makes it flow better.
As mentioned, the footpeg carriers might wear through quickly. Parts like this are often powder coated because it's a bit tougher. Matching powder coat to paint could be tricky.
ColorRite makes and sells matching paint for Ducatis. You can also probably get it mixed up at any good paint shop. I don't know how good a match colorRite is.
http://www.colorrite.com/You probably want to get it painted professionally with a two part curing paint. Spray paint in cans just dries by letting the solvent evaporate. Two part curing paints actually cure like epoxy. They are more durable and more resistant to things like fuel spills. You can do it yourself but it takes some skill and good equipment. Unless you really want to invest time and money it may make more sense to just disassemble the parts and just take them to a professional.
