I tore up Colorado Springs between 1981 and 1997 and never ever ran out of fun places to go.  But I was easily pleased so dives and honkytonks were as much fun as three-tier nightclubs.    As long as it had a pool table and a jukebox, I was good to go.  Now that I am back, I don't go out all that much, but there are enough nightclubs to get you into trouble, and most of my old dives are still afloat.  When you guys get here, I will give you my recommendations and you can compare them to DucDucGooseMe's.  KRJ probably has a few spots to throw in down in Canon City.  Anyone else?  I have heard about Syn having lots of fights, but didn't realize the other downtown clubs were so boisterous, as well.

Like has been said, You can find most anything. We don't go to the bars in C. Sps, mostly because of the drive, and I don't handle drunk ass military or gangsta very well. There is a lot of fun out there, hit the "entertainment" section of the Gazzett, or online to find events or shows, concerts, etc. and experiment.     chug Vino! drink Police vomit

Well, actually the weekly meet-ups have gone by the wayside, now that Scottish and the Brewmeister (??) have moved.  However, Dusty has moved up here from the NMMR and she and I plan to revive the Ducnights.  We were part of the core group down in Albuquerque so we have the ingrained habit of Tuesday nights being somewhere on our Ducs, making an appearance.  Also, it is fun to get together for WSBk and Moto GP races.  Rides are scheduled but also impromptu.  I hope everyone will post up invites when they get a wild hair.  Someone will be glad to join you.   waytogo [moto]

Yeah, it's beautiful, near 80 deg., a little breezy and I'm dreaming about being independently wealthy and having the tough choice of which bike to ride and to where. Then Reality hits and I'm just glad to be working and able to ride at all...Oh well.... I will be riding soon, hope to see You all out there also, cheers  [moto] [moto]

Every chance I get I'm out there. Mostly commuting, but it just feels great to be on the bike.  [moto]

Well, it's official.  Finally got my baby up here to ride the rockies on a regular basis.  Glad to hear everyone else is getting the itch too.  Rode up yesterday from Albuquerque and couldn't have asked for a better day.  Except for the section just north of Walsenburg where the wind decided to relieve me of my tank bag (at which point I thanked my lucky stars the tequila was in my backpack).  Otherwise, it felt wonderful to get in that first long ride of the season (we all know the first is the toughest on the touchie).

Bonfy has told me a lot of good things about you all, so I am looking forward to seeing those of you I have met and meeting those of you I haven't.  That being said, when's the next (first?) meet up??   chug  [moto]

You know, it's really just up to Us. I don't use facebook much, so I might be missing some other SoCoDOGs communication, and if so Someone fill me in. That being said, and weather permitting, lets make an effort to launch this season. 'cause We are past ready to GO... [moto] [moto] [moto]

Well, I can refer you to the pinned topic of Sunday mornings at Montague's, I guess.  The last post on there I suggested April 11 since this weekend is Easter and last weekend I was in ABQ.  I am still up for that date unless someone wants to meet before then.

The offer is in the mail, literally. The wife and I are moving to Colorado Springs! We will be heading to the area for a long weekend in the end of April sometime, and the move will be early to mid May. I am so stoked! drink
