as gas is getting closer and closer to four bucks a gallon it seems to make riding the bike to work sound even better than it already did, but for my 00' m750 an average of 35 mpg just seems low so i was wondering what everybody else here got for mileage on their bikes.  either way the 35 on the bike beats the 17-20 in the dodge guess that leaves more money for beer drink

I got roughly 43ish on my last tank.  That's from a 99 750.  Still seems a little low to me since a friend said he got 40 from his Goldwing.

I get anywhere from 25-40.

Depends on how many stop lights I jack-rabbit!

Finally Americans start paying attention to oil & gas consumption - about time waytogo Sorry that higher prices is what woke you up, though.
To "protect the environment" and fill up government pockets, gas is above $9 here in Norway - one of the larger oil exporters of the world. bang head

BTW my S2R800 with Termis, ECU and open air box will get 35 around town up to 55 on semi-aggressive backroads touring.

It isn't just now that I'm concerned with fuel consumption.

I'm a cheap bastard, and have always tried to get the best mpg I could with my vehicles. Except for the bike... there I could care less, as long as the ride is enjoyable.

That's why I have my Volvo instead of a truck.  For what I haul (the Duc), I'd rather pull a trailer.

I run anywhere between 40 and 45 miles per gallon. Depending, of course, on how high I like the front wheel to float off the ground. Evil And how much beer I have had to drink. drink
