Just  realized I never posted in the "new members" section, but I was on the other board since I bought my Monster a few years back. I was inactive for a bit due to my time being spent on Supermoto Junkie (raced a 450 KTM for a couple of seasons) and when my interest was rekindled in my Duc., I logged on to find a bunch of P.O.'d members gone, and an ass load of flashing generic ads in every other post. Dug around a bit and found where everyone went. Glad I'm here. [moto]

I was one of the original list members before the board, then joined TOB, I was invited to join this board on day one as well. I posted on TOB for a week or so after joining this one. I stopped posting on TOB when a MOD publicly called me a liar. F#$K TOB!

I signed up for both at same time, but immediately gravitated over here.  I got 0 help, support, humor from TOB. 

I was a very early mover from a bmw splinter group years ago to start bimmerforums out of roadfly and kind of appreciated the whole story here.

100+ posts later i am a DMFer for life (if you will have me?).

I was on TOB for a bit, saw this board and was out like the cat!  This board is much more sleek and I'm happy to be here instead now!

I started on the DML April 2008, did my research, and learned a lot, not going bash....found a stand up guy in SoCal.  spoke to him over the phone, and sent him a 10% cashier check, to a guy I never met, and never saw the bike.  Flew out to Socal and paid for the Monster and he helped my get acquainted with the Monster, and rode up the great PCH.  great experience and great time.

fast forward to DMF, met some great peeps here too, and helped my moved to Boston so much fun.. [moto]
