Damn, you just had to quote me…
I just read through the thread and the linked thread in the first post of your thread. Apparently PS copied a bit more than just the SSS rear stand, and their representative is a complete douche. I am planning on buying a front stand soon and will not be buying a powerstand.

Yeah, Pitbull stands are great, and as a longtime supporter of our sport they deserve our business. Copycat ripoffs at lower prices are no enticement to me. I've got the Pitbull front and the single-sided rear and universal rear for regular swingarms, all top-notch designs that work very well. No complaints whatsoever.

PIT BULL!!!
I have three: a front, regular rear, and single-sided rear. I have owned LP and it was crap, and I would sure as hell never buy a Powerstand.
I had an issue with a Pit Bull stand once. I picked up the phone, called them, talked to the guy who actually did the welding, found out that they had an issue with a jig, and promptly received a new stand in the mail.
No phone calls to China were necessary.

FWIW, I didn't buy my PowerStand. I got it because they wanted to see if it would work on the SSS Monsters. I got it for free on the basis that I give them feedback...

I have the Pit Bull triple stand for the front and the single sided swingarm version in back.... you can move the bike around in the garage on those stands... jump up and down on the pegs... get creatively intimate with your spouse... or anything else... those things take a beating...

Also another option for your front is to purchase a Baxley Sport Chock. They are awesome, you just drive right into it and it holds the front tire so the bike stays up, then use your Pit-Bull stand to lift the rear. It's a snap! I have one of each and love both of them. Makes lifting the rear much less precarious by yourself.

really hard to do a front tire change w/ a sport chock.
that said, i have one of those, too.

I am a little late, but I give the PitBull another vote. I got the reversible one from Cycle Gear for $160 and it only took like 6 days (calender, not business) to get it. It worked great for the two days I had it leading up to the crash of my s2r1k. Now it works well to photograph the damage
