+1 on the baffles - does he have them or not?  I am about to pull the trigger but am a bit concerned.....

If you go back to the link and look closely, it does look like there are baffles.

Yes, those definitely have baffles. Two difference between mine and his, the baffles and the crossover. My prototype set was not originally designed with the crossover, but after some testing, Mark determined that it was beneficial....

Has anyone been able to compare, say, an old "original" set and one of the new baffled setups?  Or even the db level of the new baffled set compared to the udder minus s-pipes and cans?  I've run just the udder (out of curiousity) and the noise level is just about right, but too much more than that and I think my neighbors would burn  my garage down (though I wouldn't mind  Grin).  I'm reeeeeeealy itching for some boomtubes, but having a minimal disturbance level is key.

I would think the Boomtubes would be much louder than the stock /open udder.
I guess it all depends on how baffled they end up being..

Well, I'm sold... with a few caveats.

I talked to Mark about this a couple of days ago and I had some concerns about how far the bikes exhaust tips stick out. Since they're lower on the bike I am primarily worried about lean angle and scraping them on the ground. I'm calling him today to order and will have him cut about 1 inch off the pipes. It shouldnt really affect anything major but it will get much better clearance on right turns.. I'll probably have him install the quieter baffles and have him install lambda sensor ports on the header pieces on the vertical and horizontal cylinders like the stock pipes have.

But all of that is pretty much just personal preference.
