you know, if the fairing thing is easily removed (like the new monsters side panels) and you bang a classic round headlight on it, lower bars without the stroodle mirror/s indicators.... maybe , just maybe it'd look OK.

So Goldie, what you are saying is you would be happy with a new Monster with different exhausts and seat and a higher ride height  Roll Eyes

... it would be the Monster Outback

I don't know about the twin headlights looking at me but it certainly is an improvement over the first Pict. the angular look of the multi had kind of grown on me.

yep pretty much  waytogo

Don't get me wrong, I love my M800, but I can see a newer duc in my future at some stage, and the new monster aint it, as we found out at the frasers opening.
I can't see myself on a current stroodle with it's butt ugly looks, so maybe a monster outback is for me.

Time will tell  waytogo

Hmmm, I always pictured myself owning an ST when I got sick of Monsters.  Was shattered when I found out they had stopped making them. Cry  Almost went out and bought one just so I didn't miss out.
They seem to be playing around with this adventure style thing a bit in various guises (poorly in my opinion) but I just don't see people going out and buying a Ducati adventure bike.  Ducatis are fundamentally sports bikes and the different models are just different incarnations of that base.  The ST was simply a touring oriented sports bike that still went like the clappers but was also able to carry all your gear.  The perfect bike to retire on IMHO.
And while I'm splashing my opinion around, the Stradaperta is a definite improvement on the Multi but still doesn't grab me.
now now Bazz settle down, ducati probably got nothing else to do so they keep on making different stuff and seeing what happens.

Yes, at least they are game to have a go.  They may have built some pig ugly bikes but when they get it right they get it sooo right. waytogo

cheeky indeed! maybe, just maybe... but tell me, in those pics do you think that rider can touch the ground? an interesting bike the the vertical challenged..

I'm still a little on the fence, waiting for the final. Looks like it's more hyper biased in the looks, and that ram air thing making it look like a bird - hopefully you can do something with that.

anyway, theres mild interest, lets see what comes of it.
