actually, fire, one of the DFW folks had to drop out suddenly and so his spot in the big cabin is open if you'd like to join us for the weekend

hiero,  that sounds good.  I'll PM you with my email address so we can talk about the details outside of the thread.  I'm thinking a Saturday night stay would be nice because I have a commitment Friday night.

I seriously know nothing about riding in groups so I plan to sit in back and take lots of notes.  I was planning to show up with moto, helmet, and beer money.

Damn, I wish I had seen this earlier.  I kinda let one of the other DFW guys who's a last minute commit take svoloch's place in the king cabin.  But as luck would have it, there is a spot available in Jim's Kamp cabin (BarneePhife) since Alan(littleyellowduc) can't make the trip either now.  check out the HC thread on the DFWM

I'm not worried about it.  I would like to be able to make it but I'm trying to squeeze in a bit myself this weekend too so by all means, if any folks that have been planning this longer want the spot then it's all theirs.

To be honest, riding with a big group kinda scares me a little right now.  I just got the Ducati a couple weeks ago.  Smiley

Group rides are fun, just ride your own ride. You can learn a lot following good lines

Don't worry FITH, I will be trailing in the granny group myself.

I mean I can ride, not like some of these folks, but still. It's just I went so long without a bike, and my ride time has been very limited lately. I don't feel comfortable pushing very hard. So I don't.

Though me an hiero did get going fairly balls out on some whoopdie doo's playing catchup last time. Evil

I'm in it for some nice roads and great folks.  [moto] chug

Oh, and like I said. If you can finagle floor space I'll bring an air mattress. You have to blow it up though. cheeky

chipo and my friend who's trailering with us will have a kamp cabin of their own as well with an extra spot, so no worries, i believe it's only like 35 bucks a night too, so should be fairly cost efficient

I believe I will be leaving houston around 1 or 2 pm, which should put me in austin around 4 or 5pm, dinner/drinks sounds good

I probably won't be there until 8 or so.  My groupo will probably catch some dinner just before we hit austin and meet you guys out for the evening festivities
